Beta Food was established in 1978 and has its Head Office located in Adana. Beta Food’s main emphasis in the Food category is primarily on Tea operations.

Beta Food was the first company which imported tea into Turkey and effectively managed to use important opportunities to market tea in the CIS countries which were formed as a result of the disintegration of Soviet Union at the beginning of 1990’s.

Beta’s Brands have a dominant presence in such countries as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kirghizstan, Russia and Iraq.

Beta Tea, Bayce, Champion and Howdah Brands are the 4 main and popular Brands, which Beta Food markets globally in tea business.

Beta Food purchased a tea manufacturing factory in Sürmene in the Trabzon district, in 2012. Today, teas conforming to International Standards are produced here.
